History
2025 Gasconade Manor Nursing District originally provided services to 60 residents
and employed 30 – 35 full time employees. We now have 60+ residents and 90+ employees
contributing over one million dollars annually to the local economy. We are proud to assure
the members of this community that their loved ones have a place they are proud to call
HOME, and want to thank them for their support.
2024 Gasconade Manor celebrates 50 years!!!
2023 It was recognized once again a need for a complete renovation and modernization
of the 48 private rooms on the skilled neighborhoods with laminate flooring, all new furnishings
to include 48" mounted TV's, electric bed with therapeutic mattresses, linens, wall decor and all LED lighting.
2021 Gasconade Manor Nursing District continued to expand services to include 100% private rooms at an inclusive rate with Wi-Fi supporting residents and staff needs, education providing certification programs for nursing assistants, restorative, medication technicians, transportation services with 16 passenger bus with wheelchair lift servicing residents to/from physician appointments, and staff ratios that exceed state averages. Our annual events to include apple butter cooking and holiday celebrations are among the numerous activities provided for our residents.
2012 Gasconade Wellness Center ~ Exercise is Medicine ~ Opened in 2012 offering a wide range of products and equipment for increasing personal fitness levels.
2009 The opening of Gasconade Aquatics and Therapies. A 35000 square foot facility providing water and land Physical and Occupational therapy.
2005 Gasconade Manor Nursing Home District completes the 12000 foot expansion with an activities center, 16 additional private room and two spacious outdoor courtyards.
1997 Gasconade Manor Nursing Home District begins renovations to enhance the lives of their residents by expanding dining and living areas, updating the nurses station and adding administration offices.
1994 Gasconade Manor Nursing Home District opens an outpatient and rehab sports medicine center the first facility to provide physical, occupational, and speech therapy services to area residents.
1992 Gasconade Manor Nursing Home District opens a licensed childcare center for 50 area children to provide quality, affordable childcare for the nursing home districts employees at reduced rates.
1987 Gasconade Manor Nursing District constructs a 26 bed residential care assisted living complex to meet the communities growing needs.
1974 The idea for a 60 resident Nursing Home in Owensville. The 11 Acres site was donated by Mrs. May D. Crowder Jones.
